Founded in 2016, Right Side Up is the premier growth marketing consulting firm in the U.S., with staff deployed in the most prestigious and high-growth tech companies in the world, including Uber, Lyft, Door Dash, Stitch Fix, Coinbase, Stripe, Fitbit, Calm, Instacart, Yelp, Google, and hundreds more. We provide all of the marketing chops, and none of the agency fluff. We’re trusted by the most buzzed-about early-stage ventures, the fastest growing tech companies, and well-established Fortune 500 teams to do one thing better: growth.

We’re hiring a senior event marketing manager to own our events strategy. This person will be responsible for planning, organizing, and executing best in class events to increase brand awareness and generate pipeline. This is a remote role reporting to our head of marketing and working cross functionally. If you’ve got a knack for planning and hosting, you enjoy talking shop about marketing, and you possess the skills below, we’d love to hear from you.

Responsibilities
  • Own our overall events strategy, planning and executing best-in-class events (both virtual and in-person) that will resonate with our target audience to drive brand awareness, build trust, and generate pipeline
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and external partners to build and maintain a robust events calendar that aligns with business objectives
  • Manage events from end to end with operational and logistical excellence, including all planning, promotion, stakeholder communications, asset/collateral creation, day-of execution, attendee follow-up coordination, and reporting
  • Work with internal and external partners to secure high quality speakers, panelists, and workshop facilitators who are thought leaders in their respective areas of expertise
  • Uplevel our current webinar strategy by increasing the volume, diversifying our topic mix, expanding our reach, elevating the attendee experience, exploring new technologies, streamlining processes, and pursuing strategic partnerships
  • Organize in-person events we host such as panels, fireside chats, and informal meetups to showcase our expertise as well as cultivate and nurture relationships with our target audience
  • Oversee our participation as attendees at other events, including speaking opportunities and sponsor ships, and work with stakeholders to manage all logistics and planning for each opportunity
  • Measure and analyze event program performance, optimizing our strategy to deliver on KPIs
  • Stay up-to-date on the latest growth marketing news and trends to build a relevant, impactful event calendar
Qualifications
  • 5-7 years of marketing experience with a proven track record of organizing high caliber events
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Highly organized with impeccable attention to detail
  • Strong project management chops—keeping timelines updated and stakeholders informed, holding others accountable, and delivering high quality work on time
  • Capable of overseeing multiple events simultaneously without compromising on quality or impact
  • Comfortable speaking with senior marketing executives and in front of an audience, for example hosting webinars, moderating panel discussions, and facilitating in-person conversations
  • Strong collaborator who thrives in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment
  • Familiarity with, or excitement to learn and work with a tech stack that includes Webflow, Zoom, Canva, Zapier, Click Up, Google Analytics, Slack, and Google Workspace products
  • A drive for excellence, a love of learning, and a fascination with all things growth, marketing, and ecommerce—you’ll be talking about them all day, everyday
