AboutThe Role
We are seeking an experienced, strategic, and results‑driven Lifecycle Marketing Manager. This critical role is responsible for the end‑to‑end development, execution, and optimization of highly personalized email and in‑app messaging campaigns, focusing on complex automation processes to drive engagement, conversion, and retention across Auctane products.
The ideal candidate possesses expertise in marketing automation and a proven track record of leveraging platforms like Hubspot and Pendo. This role requires a blend of strategic thinking, hands‑on technical execution, project management, and a commitment to data‑driven optimization. Overall, this role offers an exciting opportunity to shape our email and in‑app marketing practice, allowing you to make a tangible impact on our customers’ experiences and contribute to the overall success of our marketing efforts.
This role is hybrid based in Austin, TX (Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday in office).
What will you be doing?- Strategy:
Develop and execute email marketing strategies to drive engagement, conversions, upgrades and retention across Auctane products. - Campaign Management:
Lead complex marketing campaigns, including audience segmentation, dynamic content personalization, A/B testing, and end‑to‑end performance tracking. - Cross‑Functional Leadership:
Partner with cross‑functional teams (including Product Marketing, Content, Creative, Customer Success, Rev Ops, Sales, and Marketing Ops) to support company initiatives. - Technical Execution & Automation:
Design, build, and maintain sophisticated automated customer journeys and triggers within Hubspot and Pendo. Utilize strong technical skills to customize email templates, troubleshoot integration issues, and ensure seamless data flow. - Performance Analysis & Reporting:
Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) such as open rates, click‑through rates, and deliverability. Proactively identify performance gaps, formulate data‑driven optimization initiatives, and present strategic recommendations to upper management. - Compliance & Best Practices:
Ensure 100% compliance with all email best practices, anti‑spam laws (e.g., CAN‑SPAM), data privacy policies (e.g., GDPR, CCPA), and authentication protocols (SPF, DKIM, DMARC) to maintain optimal email deliverability and sender reputation. - Process Management:
Own the creation, maintenance, and tracking of lifecycle marketing projects within Click Up, ensuring timely delivery and clear stakeholder communication. - Innovation:
Stay current with emerging technologies, industry trends, and competitive best practices in email marketing, marketing automation, and in‑app messaging to drive continuous innovation.
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- 4+ years of dedicated, hands‑on experience in email marketing and marketing automation, preferably within a B2B or SaaS environment.
- Expert‑level proficiency in Hubspot and Pendo (or similar enterprise‑level marketing automation platforms).
- In‑depth knowledge and application of email marketing best practices, including advanced segmentation, personalization strategies, and iterative A/B testing methodologies.
- Familiarity with HTML and CSS, specifically in the context of email template customization and troubleshooting.
