About TIADAThe Texas Independent Automobile Dealers Association (TIADA) is dedicated to serving independent auto dealers across Texas through advocacy, education, and resources. We are seeking an experienced marketing and communications professional to lead our efforts in promoting the association, engaging our membership, and driving strategic growth.
Position OverviewThe Marketing Coordinator is responsible for developing and implementing marketing strategies that enhance TIADA’s visibility, increase member engagement, and promote the association’s events, products, and services. This role oversees all member communications across multiple platforms, ensuring a consistent and compelling brand message.
Key Responsibilities Communications & Content Management- Manage branding and messaging consistency across all platforms.
- Serve as Editor of Texas Dealer magazine, overseeing content development and production.
- Manage TIADA’s industry e-newsletter, and mass communications.
- Oversee all social media platforms, ensuring regular, engaging, and informative content.
- Maintain and update association websites to optimize user experience and accessibility.
- Oversee all communications and audio‑visual aspects for annual conference.
- Operate within the established budget and contribute to the development of the annual communications budget.
- Represent TIADA professionally at industry events, maintaining strong relationships with members and stakeholders.
- Work collaboratively with staff and leadership to support TIADA’s mission and objectives.
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, journalism, or a related field, OR at least four years of relevant experience.
- Strong background in both digital and print marketing strategies.
- Excellent writing, editing, and content development skills.
- High proficiency in Microsoft Office and Creative Suites applications.
- Experience managing websites and social media platforms for an organization.
- Experience with various marketing & communications technologies (Canva, Hootesuite, Constant Contact, Word Press, etc.)
- Work with a dedicated team in a dynamic and impactful industry.
