The Senior Manager - Brand Communications is Asure's brand steward, storyteller, and communications strategist — reporting directly to the CMO. This is a high‑ownership role at the intersection of brand strategy, content leadership, reputation management, and internal and external communications. It's not a role for someone who manages process. It's a role for someone who builds things that matter and sets the standard for how a growth‑oriented company shows up in the world.
You'll own the full brand system — not as a PDF on a shared drive, but as a living, AI‑native infrastructure that keeps Asure on‑brand at scale across every channel, team, and tool. You'll lead a Content Manager and partner closely with Growth Marketing, Demand Generation, Product, and Sales to ensure every message, asset, and interaction reflects who Asure is and where it's going.
The ideal candidate is an exceptional writer and storyteller who leverages AI to multiply their impact — not replace their judgment. They have a strong design eye, a bias toward action, and the instincts to know when to move fast and when to get it right.
Brand Strategy & Brand Operating System- Own and evolve Asure’s brand identity, voice, messaging framework, and visual standards.
- Build and maintain an AI‑native Brand Operating System — structured prompt libraries, brand guidelines in AI‑readable formats (JSON and markdown), messaging frameworks, and shared assets that scale brand consistency across the organization without relying on static documents.
- Partner with Growth Marketing and Demand Generation to ensure campaign creative, copy, and positioning are consistently on‑brand.
- Act as the internal expert and final voice on brand standards, tone, and presentation quality.
- Manage and develop a Content Manager responsible for long‑form content (blogs, ebooks), SEO/AEO web copy, and campaign copywriting support.
- Set the content strategy and editorial standards that govern how Asure educates, attracts, and engages its audience.
- Write and edit high‑impact content yourself — from executive messaging and brand narratives to campaign headlines and keynote language.
- Extend the Brand Operating System into a scalable content engine — acting as the human‑in‑the‑loop editor who sets the standard, directs AI‑assisted production, and ensures every output meets the bar before it ships.
- Own Asure’s brand social media presence across all major platforms — Facebook, Instagram, You Tube, Linked In, and emerging channels — with the understanding that reaching small business owners means showing up where they live, not just where they’re shopping.
- Leverage AI tools to maintain a consistent publishing cadence, monitor brand conversations, surface trending topics, and amplify reach — without losing the human voice that makes the brand worth following.
- Partner with Growth Managers as contributors and amplifiers — while maintaining editorial ownership of the brand voice.
- Take a proactive, always‑on approach to managing Asure’s brand reputation across G2, Glassdoor, the Better Business Bureau, and other key review and rating platforms.
- Build and execute programs to drive positive reviews from customers and employees, and respond to existing reviews with speed and professionalism.
- Leverage AI‑powered monitoring tools to stay ahead of reputation signals and flag issues before they elevate.
