Marketing Project Manager – Operational Services and Strategies
Location:
Austin, TX | FLSA Status:
Exempt | 40 hours per week |
Start Date:
Immediately | Salary: $85,000+ (depending on qualifications)
- Translate creative briefs and business objectives into high‑impact marketing plans that resonate with audiences.
- Manage and track multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring deadlines, milestones, and deliverables are met.
- Use Asana to maintain workflows, monitor status, and keep projects on track.
- Protect and champion the University’s brand identity, ensuring all materials follow established standards.
- Partner with internal stakeholders to align marketing objectives with business goals.
- Collaborate across Communications, Marketing and Engagement and functional units to develop effective multi‑channel strategies.
- Coordinate event logistics, including scheduling, venue set‑up, vendor and volunteer coordination, and on‑site support.
- Track and report on multi‑channel metrics (e.g., social media, website, newsletters, events), analyze data, and identify insights to optimize initiatives.
- Maintain organized records, standard operating procedures, and department planning documentation to support continuous improvement.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in communications, marketing or a related field.
- 5–7 years of related marketing and project management experience.
- Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- Experience managing multiple priorities simultaneously using project‑management tools such as Asana.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Ability to multitask effectively and work cooperatively with others.
- Experience planning events in higher education or large organizational settings.
- Strong analytical skills and experience reporting on metrics and performance.
- Experience with content management systems such as Drupal or Word Press.
- Experience with email marketing systems such as Emma or Mailchimp.
