Job OverviewThe Marketing Manager serves as the on-property marketing representative for Hotel Van Zandt, responsible for executing marketing initiatives, coordinating events and activations, and supporting the day-to-day marketing needs of the hotel. Reporting to the Area Director of Marketing, this role is responsible for implementing marketing strategies, managing social media channels and content creation with the support of third-party agency partners, managing day-to-day marketing operations, supporting revenue-generating initiatives, and ensuring brand consistency across all guest-facing touchpoints.
This is a position that requires excellent organization and communication skills, working cross-functionally with Operations, Food & Beverage, Sales, and Revenue Management so that daily tasks are completed in an efficient and timely manner to bring campaigns, activations, partnerships, and events to life.
Responsibilities ESSEN TIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Marketing Operations & Administration- Execute annual and quarterly marketing plans developed in partnership with the Area Director of Marketing
- Manage day-to-day marketing requests and priorities from hotel departments
- Coordinate project timelines and ensure timely completion of marketing initiatives
- Maintain marketing calendars, campaign schedules, promotional timelines, and activation plans
- Assist with budget tracking, invoice processing, vendor coordination, and marketing expense management
- Coordinate with agency partners, designers, photographers, printers, and other external vendors
- Prepare monthly reporting and marketing recaps including campaign performance, social media metrics, website analytics, and promotional results
- Coordinate content collection across the hotel, including photography, video, guest experiences, activations, and food & beverage programming
- Serve as the primary liaison with social media and PR agency partners
- Create and organize content assets for social media, website, email, and promotional use
- Assist with influencer visits, media stays, and content creator partnerships including creating face sheets, managing welcome amenities
- Monitor social channels for brand consistency, guest engagement opportunities, and emerging trends
- Prepare monthly social performance reports and content recaps
- Maintain and update Hotel Van Zandt's website, including offers, packages, event listings, landing pages, and content updates
- Support the execution of email marketing campaigns through content gathering, copywriting, asset management, and deployment coordination
