We are seeking a creative, organized, and detail-oriented Social Media & VIP Community Intern to support our social media channels and VIP Facebook Community. This role offers hands-on experience in content creation, community engagement, social media marketing, and digital content strategy within a fast-paced retail and live shopping environment. The ideal candidate is passionate about social media, enjoys creating content, stays current on digital trends, and is excited to help grow and engage online communities.
Responsibilities- Social Media Support
- Assist with creating and scheduling content for Facebook, Instagram, Tik Tok, and other social platforms.
- Capture, film, and edit short-form videos, reels, stories, and behind-the-scenes content.
- Research social media trends, audio, hashtags, and content ideas.
- Monitor comments and engagement across social platforms.
- Assist with social media reporting and performance tracking.
- Support content planning and execution based on the social media calendar.
- VIP Community Support
- Assist in managing and growing the VIP Facebook Community.
- Review and approve member requests.
- Engage with community members through comments, discussions, polls, and community activities.
- Help create community posts, graphics, and engagement campaigns.
- Identify opportunities to increase member participation and engagement.
- Refer customer service inquiries and order-related issues to the Customer Service team for resolution.
- Content Creation Support
- Assist with photo and video shoots.
- Help organize content assets and creative files.
- Create social-first content that aligns with current platform trends.
- Conduct customer, host, and team member interviews for social media content when needed.
- Support major promotions, special events, product launches, and live shopping initiatives.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure content is accurate and published on schedule.
Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, Journalism, Business, or a related field.
Strong interest in social media, digital marketing, and content creation.
Familiarity with Instagram, Tik Tok, Facebook, and emerging social media trends.
Experience with Canva, Cap Cut, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar creative tools is preferred.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Self-motivated, creative, and eager to learn.
Preferred SkillsExperience creating and editing short-form video content.
Basic photography and videography skills.
Experience managing social media accounts or online communities.
Interest in retail, e-commerce, fashion, jewelry, beauty, or lifestyle brands.
Comfortable interacting with customers, hosts, and team members while creating content.
Comfortable appearing in social media content when needed, but not required.
RequirementsMust be comfortable filming, editing, and producing short-form social media content.
Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and adapting to changing priorities.
