Creative Conceptual Copywriter (6‑Month Mat Cover)
Contract – United States
• 30 hours per week • $35‑$37 per hour (remote, mid‑January to early July 2026)
tmp is a global B2B agency with 300+ specialists that partners with leading tech and telecom companies. We deliver integrated media, strategy, and creative work, and we’re looking for a skilled writer to help us tell compelling stories and simplify complex solutions.
What you’ll do- Work closely with a multidisciplinary creative team (designers, strategists, media specialists) on day‑to‑day copy projects.
- Translate complex product information into clear, conversational copy that resonates across channels.
- Own creative ideas, advocate for them, and adapt as needed.
- Write a range of marketing content – event exhibits, email, banner and social ads, organic social posts, web pages, video scripts, ebooks, guides, blog posts, sales decks, solution briefs, call scripts, and case studies.
- Review copy in design for accuracy, relevance, and proofing.
- Generate ideas that are surprising yet audience‑relevant, and that express the client proposition.
- Write in a style that uses wit, intelligence, and lateral thinking; condenses complex business jargon into human language; is easy and enjoyable to read; and conforms to brand voice and standards.
- Strategic and commercially sharp, with the ability to zoom in and out on big picture goals.
- Curious and adaptable, thriving in ambiguity while asking clarifying questions.
- Bold, honest, and effective communicator, comfortable speaking your mind to inspire confidence.
- Collaborative and energized by working across creative, strategy, media, and tech teams.
- Resilient, driven, and ready to push creative thinking to the next level.
- 5+ years of copy‑focused creative experience (agency experience preferred, but not required).
- A portfolio that showcases your strategic thinking and craft.
- Experience in B2B marketing; B2C is acceptable.
- Telecom and/or event creative experience is a plus.
- Strong eye for detail and a commitment to high standards in copy and editing.
- Comfortable switching between campaign thinking and day‑to‑day content.
- Ability to demonstrate how creativity translates across multiple platforms.
