Seeking Technical Consultants in O'Fallon, MO
Location: Remote
Role Overview
The DTC Content & Merchandising Specialist will support ongoing site merchandising, product launches, and digital content execution for a direct-to-consumer eCommerce platform. This role partners closely with eCommerce, Marketing, and DTC Operations teams to ensure accurate, engaging, and optimized site experiences.
Key Responsibilities
Site Merchandising & Product Launching (15 hrs/week)
- Maintain and update category grids, product recommendations, on-site search optimizations, and PDPs
- Refresh category pages on a weekly, biweekly, or monthly cadence based on traffic and priority
- Conduct weekly site QA to identify and resolve issues related to product images, attributes, and data; elevate issues to DTC Ops Manager and support cleanup activities
- Build, QA, and launch landing pages for promotions, campaigns, and seasonal storytelling moments
- Complete pre-launch merchandising tasks for new products in Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC) and audit post-launch for accuracy and orderability
Site Content & Marketing (15 hrs/week)
- Build and schedule content assets in SFCC based on the site calendar; perform thorough QA prior to go-live
- Build, QA, and launch promotions according to the planned cadence
- Implement on-page SEO and meta content as provided by the eCommerce Marketing Manager
Required Skills
- Strong understanding of eCommerce fundamentals, including digital merchandising, digital marketing, SEO, performance metrics, and site optimization
- Technical aptitude and comfort working in eCommerce platforms and systems
- High attention to detail with strong organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and meet deadlines consistently
- Adaptable, flexible, and comfortable pivoting in a fast-paced environment
- Proactive communicator with a strong sense of ownership
- Basic HTML writing and editing skills (1+ year preferred)
Experience & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
- 2+ years of experience with Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC) strongly preferred
- 2+ years of experience in eCommerce, DTC, digital merchandising, or digital marketing
