YAP MEDIA NYC is hiring a US-based Creator Partnerships Manager to support the growth of our podcast network by assisting with the recruitment and onboarding of new podcasters. In this role, you will work closely with our Sales and Recruitment Director to identify, evaluate, and engage high-potential podcast creators who can thrive within the YAP Media network.

In just two years, YAP Media has become one of the top networks for business and self-development podcasts, securing sponsorship deals with major brands like Airbnb, Linked In, Shopify, International Olympic Committee, and more. As our network continues to scale, recruiting strong podcast talent is one of our most important growth levers.

This is a highly analytical and execution-focused role. You will be responsible for researching potential podcast partners, tracking performance metrics, testing new growth channels, and supporting outreach efforts to attract creators into our network.

Responsibilities
  • Podcast Research. Research podcasts across Apple, Spotify, You Tube, social, and other platforms to find creators who match YAP’s network goals and target niches.
  • List Building. Compile highly detailed lead lists with all key info needed for outreach and decisions, including show links, audience metrics, contact details, and personalization notes.
  • Pipeline & List Accuracy. Maintain one up-to-date recruitment pipeline, updating stages, notes, last touch, and next steps daily so no lead goes cold and no follow-up is missed.
  • Outreach Sequences & Follow-Up Systems. Build and manage outreach sequences for the lead lists (email, DM, partner intros), track replies and meeting rates, and improve messaging based on performance.
    Meeting Coordination & Scheduling. Monitor responses, route leads correctly, and schedule recruitment calls with clear confirmations, prep notes, and next-step follow-ups.
  • Recruitment Decks & Materials. Prepare and update recruitment decks, one-pagers, FAQs, case studies, and proof points so creators quickly understand why YAP is the best network partner.
  • Events & Partnership Support. Support recruitment events and industry relationship-building (dinners, conferences, award ceremonies) by managing invite lists, outreach, RSVPs, and post-event follow-ups.
  • Creator Newsletter, Website & Updates. Support our creator newsletter and website updates by keeping recruitment messaging and public info accurate, clear, and compelling so podcasters can self-qualify and reach out.
  • Usage of Podcast Tools & Software. Use and continuously level-up in core tools in the podcast, publicity, and marketing space - specifically Podscribe, Rephonic, Megaphone, Simplecast, Omny, Chartable, Muckrack, Swap.fm, Magellan, Podchaser, Spotify Analytics, Apple Podcasts Connect, Bumper’s Dashboard, and more.
  • Platform Exploration & Growth Testing. Test new platforms and tools that could help identify and recruit emerging podcast creators. Monitor trends across podcast directories, social platforms, and creator ecosystems to uncover new recruitment opportunities.
  • Collaboration with Internal Teams. Work closely with sales, operations, and content teams to ensure accurate information is gathered when evaluating potential podcasters.
Results
  • Add a steady flow of qualified creator leads that match YAP’s target niches and quality bar weekly.
  • Ensure lead lists and pipelines are accurate, with clear next steps and no missed follow-ups.
  • Consistently run outreach sequences and improve performance over time (reply and meeting rates increase).
  • Schedule recruitment calls smoothly with strong prep, clear confirmations, and fast follow-ups.
  • Ensure recruitment materials stay current, polished, and easy to find so the Director can move fast.
  • Ensure events and partnership initiatives produce organized follow-up and documented outcomes.
