Senior Product Marketing Manager

Bus Patrol is seeking a strategic, highly collaborative, and execution-oriented Senior Product Marketing Manager to lead product marketing initiatives across our portfolio of school safety, transportation technology, AI, and public-sector solutions. This role will serve as the primary bridge between Product Management, Sales, Customer Success, Government Relations, Marketing, Revenue Operations, and Executive Leadership to ensure our products are positioned effectively, launched successfully, and continuously differentiated in the market.

As the Senior Product Marketing Manager, you will own the development and execution of product marketing strategy across the product lifecycle—from market research and positioning through commercialization, launch, competitive strategy, and sales enablement. You will play a critical role in shaping how Bus Patrol brings products to market while translating complex technologies into compelling customer value propositions that resonate with school districts, municipalities, law enforcement agencies, transportation providers, and other public-sector organizations.

This role is ideal for an experienced product marketing leader who thrives in high-growth environments, enjoys building scalable programs, and is equally comfortable developing long-term strategy and executing day-to-day initiatives that drive measurable business results.

Key Responsibilities Product Marketing Strategy & Positioning
  • Own Bus Patrol's product marketing strategy across the product portfolio.
  • Develop differentiated positioning, messaging, and value propositions that clearly communicate customer value and competitive differentiation.
  • Partner with Product Leadership to influence product roadmap decisions using customer, market, and competitive insights.
  • Develop messaging frameworks that support customer acquisition, expansion, retention, and new market entry.
  • Ensure consistent messaging across all customer-facing channels and internal stakeholders.
Go-to-Market Strategy & Commercialization
  • Lead cross-functional go-to-market strategy for new product launches, feature releases, market expansions, and strategic initiatives.
  • Build commercialization plans that align Product, Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, Revenue Operations, and Executive Leadership.
  • Define launch success metrics and monitor product adoption, market penetration, and business performance following launch.
  • Continuously optimize launch strategies based on customer feedback, market response, and business outcomes.
  • Help identify new market opportunities, customer segments, and commercialization strategies that accelerate growth.
Sales Enablement

Own the strategy and development of sales enablement programs, including:

  • Product presentations
  • Messaging frameworks
  • Battlecards
  • Competitive positioning guides
  • Customer case studies
  • Product one‑pagers
  • ROI calculators
  • Value-based selling tools
  • Industry-specific messaging

Partner closely with Sales Leadership and Revenue Operations to improve seller readiness, shorten sales cycles, and increase competitive win rates.

Develop and deliver enablement training that equips customer‑facing teams to confidently position Bus Patrol's solutions.

Competitive Intelligence & Market Insights
  • Build and maintain Bus Patrol's competitive intelligence program.
  • Monitor competitors, industry trends, legislative developments, and emerging technologies impacting school safety and public‑sector transportation.
  • Conduct customer interviews, market research, and win/loss analyses to identify opportunities and inform business strategy.
  • Deliver actionable competitive insights and market recommendations to Product Leadership and Executive Leadership.
  • Serve as the organization's subject matter expert on market dynamics and customer needs.
Customer & Industry Engagement
  • Serve as the voice of the customer throughout product planning and commercialization efforts.
  • Gather customer feedback and market intelligence to influence product roadmap priorities.
  • Partner with Customer Success to develop customer success stories and reference programs.
  • Represent Bus Patrol at conferences, customer events, webinars, and industry…
