Hours:

40 hours per week, Monday–Friday 8:00 AM–5:00 PM on‑site. The position is exempt from FLSA and is expected to continue beyond the initial hiring period.

Overview

Support the University of Texas at Austin’s peer‑to‑peer fundraising campaigns and campus‑wide crowdfunding platform (Horn Raiser), while also assisting with the administration of the Annual Giving Programs (AGP). This role focuses on managing fundraising initiatives, coordinating with groups, and enhancing campaign performance.

Responsibilities
  • Assist in managing the year‑round, campus‑wide crowdfunding platform (Horn Raiser) and collaborate with the Associate Director to execute peer‑to‑peer fundraising campaigns, including key events such as 40 Hours for the Forty Acres and Giving Tuesday.
  • Act as the main contact for roughly 200 groups that coordinate resource collection for successful group fundraising during AGP peer‑to‑peer campaigns.
  • Partner with the Associate Director and AGP teammates to identify opportunities to enhance peer‑to‑peer campaign engagement and performance.
  • Assist in the copywriting and review process for AGP peer‑to‑peer fundraising campaign solicitations.
  • Generate and update campaign support resources, including informational toolkits, internal messaging, and communication content.
  • Support approximately 150 groups annually by providing project intake, content review, interviews, and ongoing guidance to ensure best practices and successful execution of crowdfunding campaigns on Horn Raiser.
  • Organize Horn Raiser participant consultations, workshops, and information sessions as required.
  • Act as a secondary contact for participating groups and respond to crowdfunding inquiries.
  • Maintain internal records of the AGP budget and oversee office supply inventory.
  • Manage team travel bookings, reimbursements, and liaise with building managers and vendors.
  • Monitor the shared Annual Giving email inbox and respond or route questions as appropriate.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree and at least one year of experience assisting with fundraising programs or performing complex administrative functions.
  • Highly effective written, verbal, interpersonal, organizational, and project‑management skills.
  • Capable of working independently and under pressure while collaborating across teams.
  • Excellence in problem‑analysis, problem‑solving, and customer service; detail‑oriented with the ability to switch projects or priorities as needed.
  • Demonstrated discretion, integrity, and professionalism.
  • Proficiency with Office 365 applications.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Hands‑on experience executing fundraising campaigns, ideally crowdfunding and/or peer‑to‑peer campaigns.
  • Experience with CRM/database marketing—Salesforce and/or Affinaquest experience is a plus.
  • Experience managing online peer‑to‑peer giving platforms—Give Campus experience a plus.
  • Copywriting experience a plus.
  • Experience organizing events a plus.
Salary Range

$53,000 + depending on qualifications.

Working Conditions
  • Position is based in Austin, Texas.
  • Must be eligible to work in the United States on a full‑time basis for any employer without sponsorship.
  • Standard office conditions in a shared environment with repetitive keyboard use.
  • May require additional hours during peak periods and special events.
  • Regular and consistent attendance is required.
