OverviewThe Marketing Coordinator is responsible for marketing, social media, online marketing, public relations, promotions for venues, radio promotions, clubs, theaters, festivals, shows and one-offs. This role develops promotional initiatives with artists and the community to promote a positive brand image and may coordinate interns and street team for show promotions.
Essential Functions- Monitor marketing trends regionally with artists and implement new campaigns based on current trends. Analyze fan base to target specific demographics for shows, tours, and festivals.
- Coordinate and advance day-of-show activities including radio setups, remote broadcasts, and escorting media photographers and news crews.
- Create, proofread and distribute weekly newsletters; manage e-cards and e-blasts; ensure venue information and links are correct and coordinate with designers on final versions.
- Develop and manage social media accounts; research promotions; collaborate with artists on social posts; plan posting schedule aligned with event deadlines (announce, on sale, maintenance, backend).
- Create and deliver show settlements including actuals, backup and campaign notes.
- Collect ticket links, maintain central grid, verify links, presale passwords, billing, art on ticket pages and venue sites.
- Maintain relationships with partners, co-promoters and media; develop community initiatives; organize artist promotions and meet-and-greets.
- May assist with uploading expense reports, updating office calendar, ordering supplies and general office administration.
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 2-4 years of related work experience
- Experience calendaring events
- MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and Photoshop skills
- Basic accounting knowledge
- Strong written and verbal communication
- Strong PR and social media skills, and strong organizational skills
- Strong work ethic, problem solving and prioritization
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Creative thinker who thinks outside the box
- Knowledge of the music industry preferred
$17.97 - $26.44
BonusThis position is not eligible for a bonus under the current plan.
