Content Marketing and Editorial Intern (For Credit, Paid)

Company: Swift Fit Events
Location: Hybrid Austin Texas with one in person day per week plus optional event support
Compensation: $15 per hour | Part Time | 1099
Duration: 10 to 12 weeks Spring Summer or Fall
Hours: Up to 15 per week

About the Role

Swift Fit Events is seeking a Content Marketing and Editorial Intern to support blog content, thought leadership research, and website storytelling. This role is perfect for a student who enjoys writing research driven content and wants exposure to how brands build authority through long form and repurposed content.

If available, this intern may also assist with capturing light photo or video footage at select corporate wellness events to support blog and digital marketing efforts.

What You’ll Do
  • Research and recommend blog and thought leadership topics aligned with wellness workplace culture and brand marketing
  • Assist with writing editing and formatting blog posts for the Swift Fit Events website
  • Support content uploads and organization within our CMS
  • Repurpose blog content into short form formats for Linked In and email
  • Track content performance metrics including website traffic and engagement
  • Assist with capturing behind the scenes footage at select events when available
  • Contribute to a semester long content project focused on improving website engagement and visibility
Tools You’ll Use Requirements
  • Upperclassman pursuing a degree in Marketing Journalism Communications Digital Media or related field
  • Strong writing and research skills with an interest in editorial storytelling
  • Comfortable editing content for clarity tone and brand voice
  • Basic understanding of content performance metrics
  • Organized and proactive with strong follow through
