Space Tourism Startup (Austin-Based) About Starship Texas Tours
Join the ground floor of Texas’s first premium space-tourism company. We’re creating curated three-day expeditions to witness SpaceX Starship launches from South Padre Island, with first departures planned for Q1 2026.
This is a rare opportunity to gain hands‑on startup experience at the intersection of space, tourism, and entrepreneurship. You’ll help shape real operations, outreach, and creative projects as part of a small, fast‑moving team.
What You’ll Do- Gather and compare vendor quotes (transport, lodging, catering, activities)
- Create marketing and media assets using Canva, InVideo, Midjourney, and AI tools
- Support social‑media setup, website updates, and CRM organization
- Assist with recruiting key staff (Tour Captain, Mission Specialist)
- Help plan and coordinate event logistics for launch‑timed tours
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis
- Prepare project briefs and progress updates for the founder
Direct mentorship from an Emory MBA–trained serial entrepreneur with multiple funded ventures and exits
- Produce front‑facing, consequential deliverables. Real‑world exposure to startup strategy, marketing, and hospitality operations
- Experience using AI, automation, and design platforms for real projects
- Flexible remote schedule with optional in‑person Austin meetings
- Professional reference and resume‑building experience
- A front‑row seat to launching a company from concept to market
Required:
currently enrolled student (undergraduate or graduate); strong organization and communication skills; self‑starter who works independently;
Austin area preferred.
Preferred: interest in entrepreneurship, space, tourism, or hospitality; familiarity with AI and web tools; event planning or social‑media experience.
