Touchdown, a Ruder Finn company, is seeking a highly motivated Senior Account Executive (SAE) for its expanding team. In this position, you will be responsible for supporting a diverse portfolio of B2B technology accounts in sectors such as AI, cybersecurity, cloud computing, HR Tech, IT technology services, and SaaS.
Key Responsibilities- Act as the primary client contact, fostering trust and becoming a valuable resource.
- Conduct media relations efforts, including media monitoring, trend flagging, developing media lists, and outreach.
- Identify and build relationships with media contacts in technology and business outlets to secure coverage.
- Develop a full range of written materials: press releases, byline articles, speeches, client correspondence, and reports.
- Write, edit, and proofread high‑quality content such as press releases, social media posts, blog entries, pitch letters, fact sheets, speeches, and presentations.
- Maintain a solid understanding of clients’ businesses, competitive environments, strategies, products, services, key customers, and competitors.
- Support daily client and prospect interactions, collaborate with team members, and help develop strategic recommendations.
- Anticipate challenges and ensure deadlines and budgets are met.
- 3+ years of experience in PR, Communications, Media, or the Technology industry.
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, Marketing, Technology, or a related field.
- Excellent writing, verbal, and presentation skills; capable of engaging high‑level executives both internally and externally.
- Detail‑oriented, organized, proactive, and enthusiastic with the ability to juggle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Self‑starter who encourages creativity and innovation in self and others.
- Strong experience with Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
