At WP Engine, we are on a mission to help our customers win online! We are looking for a highly driven, tech‑savvy Lead Field & Events Marketing Manager to join and support our Demand Generation team. In this role, you will own and evolve North America field marketing programs while producing high-touch, in‑person WP Engine experiences designed to build brand awareness, engage priority audiences, generate demand, and accelerate pipeline.
As a senior individual contributor and field marketing leader, you will act as a strategic focal point across WP Engine, bringing an informed point of view on regional events, sponsor ships, and campaigns that effectively promote our brand and accelerate top‑line revenue growth. You will balance strategic thinking with hands‑on execution, owning programs from planning and production through post‑event lead nurture, performance analysis, and ROI reporting.
to Day Field Marketing Strategy & Program Execution
- Develop and execute high-impact field marketing programs across North America, including regional event sponsor ships, customer roadshows, industry conferences, field activations and executive dinners.
- Partner with internal stakeholders to align the right event opportunities with priority audiences, business objectives, and pipeline goals.
Own end‑to‑end production, project management, promotion, and onsite execution for North America in‑person field events, including trade shows, conferences, sponsor ships, customer events, and regional activations. Manage event briefs, timelines, vendors, contracts, procurement, logistics, RSVPs, and materials, while tracking results and reporting on post‑event performance.
Cross‑Functional AlignmentPartner deeply with Sales, SDR, Marketing Operations, Product Marketing, Creative Services, and other cross‑functional teams to align field programs with target audiences, messaging, lead follow‑up, and pipeline goals. Build strong relationships across the organization and communicate proactively with stakeholders throughout the event lifecycle.
Budget & Financial ManagementManage line‑item budgets for assigned North America events, including forecasting, vendor spend, expense tracking, and post‑event reconciliation. Maintain clear visibility into budget performance and communicate spend, risks, and changes to key stakeholders.
Lead Nurture & Sales Follow‑ThroughPartner with Marketing Operations, SDRs, and Sales to ensure event leads are captured, enriched, routed, nurtured, and actively worked after each event. Monitor and regularly report out on lead progression through the funnel and proactively identify opportunities to improve conversion from event engagement to MQL, opportunity, and pipeline.
Performance Analysis & ReportingEstablish and track event KPIs, analyze campaign and event performance, and deliver regular performance readouts to stakeholders and leadership. Evaluate event effectiveness through metrics such as lead generation,…
