Communications Director | Advocacy Organization | Austin, TX | Job : #3651548
Are you an experienced digital communications professional ready to lead strategy for a growing advocacy organization? This Austin-based opportunity offers the chance to shape digital communications, manage external partners, expand audience engagement, and develop long-term strategies for communicating public policy issues across multiple platforms.
Responsibilities:- Develop and execute digital communications strategy across organizational channels.
- Manage digital vendors, consultants, and agency relationships to support communications goals.
- Oversee website, email, social media, and other digital communication platforms.
- Develop long-term digital growth strategies and establish repeatable processes and best practices.
- Coordinate digital messaging that effectively communicates policy issues to target audiences.
- Analyze digital performance and recommend strategic improvements to increase engagement and effectiveness.
- Collaborate with organizational leadership on communications priorities, messaging, and strategic initiatives.
- 5+ years of experience in digital communications, political campaigns, advocacy, consulting, public affairs, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of Republican politics, public policy, and digital communications.
- Demonstrated ability to independently develop communications strategy and exercise sound judgment.
- Experience managing outside vendors, agencies, and multiple concurrent projects.
- Excellent writing, communication, organizational, and project management skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
$75,000–$95,000 annually
, plus benefits.
