* This position is 20 hours a week with a possibility of continuation.*## Purpose The Communications Strategist helps drive how NDC shows up across our communications and partnerships, This role supports two distinct brands: NDC and Deafverse, and works closely with the Communications Director and Social Media Coordinator to plan, produce, and distribute content that reaches deaf students, educators, VR counselors, and partner organizations.##
Responsibilities
* Leads strategic planning and develops campaign briefs across NDC and Deafverse communications
* Manages newsletter and newsfeed production from planning through distribution
* Coordinates web updates and maintains the working relationship with NDC's web contractor
* Supports partnership coordination and outreach on behalf of the Communications Director
* Maintains the editorial calendar and keeps communications sequenced and aligned
* Tracks and reports analytics across communications efforts
* Supports video and multimedia content distribution across NDC's communications##
Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree and 5 years of relevant experience. 3–5 years in communications, marketing, or outreach.
* Relevant education and experience may be substituted as appropriate.*##
Preferred Qualifications Experience in a nonprofit, higher education, or mission-driven organization. Comfortable managing multiple communications channels simultaneously and working independently in a small remote team. ## Salary Range $70,000 annualized ($35,000 prorated)## Working Conditions
