Within Global Philanthropy, the Careers & Skills team supports nonprofit partners and ecosystem leaders who prepare young people and young adults for the future of work, expand early-career exposure, and connect talent to employers.

We are seeking a Vice President who can translate strategy into scalable initiatives, deepen partnerships across the firm, and deliver measurable outcomes for communities while creating meaningful, well-governed opportunities for employees to engage.

As a Vice President on the Careers & Skills, Global Philanthropy team, you will help design and scale JPMorgan

Chase's philanthropic strategy to expand economic opportunity and career pathways, with a focus on career exploration, early-career exposure, and pathways to quality jobs for youth and young adults. You'll cultivate strong internal partnerships across the firm including with Human Resources and the Employee Engagement & Volunteerism team to build partnerships that connect external programs and grantee partners with employee expertise and firm‑enabled opportunities, including mentorship, skills‑based volunteering, internships, apprenticeships, and talent pipelines.

Job Responsibilities
  • Leverage subject matter expertise, professional network, data and analysis to design, manage, and evaluate a grant portfolio with a focus on employment, employer practices, job training, secondary and post‑secondary education, and economic mobility, ensuring alignment with the firm's business priorities and Corporate Responsibility's social impact agenda
  • Ensure all grants and partnerships are executed in accordance with policies, controls, and Corporate Responsibility procedures
  • Build and maintain a robust network of relationships with government, philanthropic, business, and nonprofit leaders
  • Partner with internal stakeholders including Human Resources, Employee Engagement & Volunteerism, Market Leadership Teams, and cross‑functional partners such as communications and legal to drive collaboration and amplify impact
  • Monitor, evaluate, and report on the impact of grants, using insights to shape future strategy and amplify results.
Required Qualifications , Skills, and Capabilities
  • Minimum 8+ years' experience; a bachelor's degree or equivalent experience is required
  • The ideal candidate will have demonstrated experience in philanthropy, workforce development, education‑to‑career pathways, talent development, or related fields, with a strong focus on youth and young adults and on early‑career exposure and work‑based learning.
  • The candidate will have experience building and managing partnerships across complex stakeholder environments, including close collaboration with Human Resources and employee engagement functions, and comfort translating community and grantee needs into firm‑enabled opportunities such as mentorship, job shadowing, skills‑based volunteering, internships, apprenticeships, and early‑career pipeline models.
  • The candidate will bring strong portfolio management, program design, and execution skills, including the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously, apply disciplined project management, and deliver high‑quality results under time constraints.
  • The candidate will demonstrate excellent relationship management, written and verbal communication, and executive‑ready presentation skills, with the ability to influence without authority and align internal and external partners around shared objectives.
Compensation

We offer a competitive total rewards package including base salary determined based on the role, experience, skill set and location. Those in eligible roles may receive commission‑based pay and/or discretionary incentive compensation, paid in the form of cash and/or forfeitable equity, awarded in recognition of individual achievements and contributions.
