Job Summary

The Philanthropy Program Manager serves as the liaison to the Women’s Auxiliary, steering social impact initiatives through strategic fundraising and relationship management. The role supervises, organizes, and coordinates day‑to‑day operations of the Women’s Auxiliary for Area Command Angel Tree programs, ensuring efficient completion of office tasks and supporting volunteers with training and guidance on event planning and execution.

Physical Requirements and Working Conditions
  • Ability to meet attendance requirements.
  • Ability to read, write, and communicate in English effectively.
  • Ability to speak before small and large groups.
  • Ability to travel to various locations for public meetings, conferences, etc.
  • Ability to work under the pressure of deadlines and time constraints.
  • Ability to operate general office equipment, including telephone, Dictaphone, typewriter, computer, and adding machine.
  • Commitment to conduct all duties in accordance with the ministry and Christian principles, maintaining professionalism.
  • Duties usually performed seated, with brief standing or walking allowed.
  • Limited physical effort related to walking, standing, lifting and carrying light objects (< 25 lbs.) for 5‑10% of work time.
  • Work performed in normal office environment with minimal physical discomfort.

What We Are Looking For In You

Education and Experience
  • Associate’s degree from an accredited college or university in a related field required;
    Bachelor’s degree preferred in project management, event planning, or related field.
  • Four years progressively responsible experience in supervising volunteers and managing events/projects, preferably in a non‑profit setting.
  • Any equivalent combination of training and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
Certifications
  • Valid State Driver's License
