Organization Description
Four Points Democrats is a grassroots organization of precinct chairs and politically engaged residents from Travis County precincts 270–275. The group is dedicated to empowering community members with information, resources, and opportunities to shape local and regional representation. By focusing on voter education and engagement, Four Points Democrats works to strengthen democratic participation and civic involvement. The organization collaborates with neighbors, local leaders, and partner groups to help elect Democratic candidates.
Interns will join a team that values inclusivity, community service, and informed political action.
Interns will collaborate to establish and maintain an Instagram and Tik Tok presence for Four Points Democrats in order to grow a following among area Gen Z and Millennial voters. Through July and August, interns will post images and videos daily to gain followers. These posts will serve to educate, inform, and entertain younger Four Points area voters. Posts will highlight Democratic candidates, hot political topics of interest to younger voters, political events, important election dates, and volunteer opportunities.
Interns will also plan a fun end‑of‑summer Gen Z/Millennial social event to which Democratic candidates will be invited.
