Program Associate
Job Responsibilities- Serve as the primary point of contact for TGRC visitors, managing inquiries, scheduling appointments, and providing individualized support through in‑person and virtual consultations.
- Maintain expertise in the Candid Foundation Directory to guide users in grant research.
- Support TGRC operations and data tracking, including visitor records, survey data, and appointment logistics, and provide insights to improve programming.
- Develop and maintain a monthly newsletter featuring statewide grant opportunities, tracking funding cycles, highlighting relevant grants, and tailoring resources for Texas nonprofits.
- Assist in implementing strategic plan objectives by coordinating nonprofit resource centers and targeted outreach to communities without nearby centers.
- Participate in staff meetings, collaborate on cross‑team initiatives, and support the planning and implementation of Hogg Foundation program activities.
- Complete additional duties as assigned.
- Minimum 2‑3 years of database management experience.
- Experience in roles that involve direct interaction with the public, stakeholders, or customer service.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively with diverse stakeholders.
- Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
- Strong analytical skills and strategic thinking to improve processes and outcomes.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills, conveying complex information to varied audiences.
- Willingness and ability to travel occasionally within Texas.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and willingness to learn new software.
- Higher education degree.
- Multilingual ability.
- Demonstrated interest in mental health, wellness, and/or nonprofit resource development.
$50,000–$55,000, depending on qualifications.
