At Texas Med Clinics, part of Community Care Partners, we are redefining urgent care by putting people first—both our patients, our providers and team members.

We are seeking Nurse Practitioners or Physician Assistants to join our growing urgent care and occupational medicine team in Austin, TX!

Essential Functions and Responsibilities
  • Provide patient care on an outpatient basis to include procedures normally performed in an urgent care setting
  • Responsible for the delivery of care, treatment, and referrals.
  • Arrange for referral resources for medical specialties not provided by the organization for patients of the clinic.
  • Evaluate patients to determine the medical condition of the patient through performance of physical examinations, establishing a diagnosis and proposed treatment plan.
  • Perform clinical procedures within scope and skill of practitioner for patient benefit.
  • Communicate information to patients regarding diagnosis and treatment goals.
  • Maintain accurate, complete, concise, and timely documentation with a focus on proper level coding and clinical documentation integrity (CDI) in the electronic medical record.
  • Perform occupational and telemedicine patient care.
  • Perform non-patient facing duties such as lab and x-ray review.
  • Perform other job-related duties as may be assigned by the Medical Director.
What’s Required
  • Current, unrestricted PA or NP license in the state, or the ability to obtain.
  • Ability to obtain DOT certification within 60 days of hire.
  • DEA licensure.
  • Knowledge of treatment and drug interactions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
