Registered Nurse - Labor and Delivery

Job Summary:

Seeking experienced Registered Nurses for a 13-week contract in Labor and Delivery. The role involves night shift work with rotating weekends, providing critical patient care in a fast-paced obstetric setting.

Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to laboring patients and newborns.
• Monitor fetal heart rates and perform intermediate fetal monitoring to assess fetal well-being.
• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders and clinical protocols.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Document patient progress and communicate effectively with team members.
• Adhere to safety standards and ensure compliance with accreditation requirements.

Qualifications:

• Valid Registered Nurse license with at least 1 year of relevant experience.
• Certification in BLS, ACLS, NRP, and STABLE required.
• Demonstrated proficiency in intermediate fetal monitoring techniques.
• Ability to work night shifts with rotating weekends.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Strong assessment and critical thinking abilities.
