May 31, 2026 Length: 13 weeks Openings: 1 Description American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery position at a high-volume, Level IV Maternal Designation facility in Austin, TX, requiring a minimum of 2 years of L&D experience. Details Labor & Delivery unit at a Level IV Maternal Designation academic teaching facility Unit includes 20 LDR suites, 4 C-section suites, 10 triage rooms, 51 Mother-Baby Couplet rooms, and 14 monitored antepartum beds High-risk, fast-paced environment performing over 500 deliveries per month 24-hour in-house attending OB, anesthesia, and NICU coverage Active Perinatal Transport Program Facility is expanding with a new Women's Tower in mid-2026 Day shift: 06:45–19:15 13-week contract Requirements Active TX RN license or compact license with TX as primary state required Current BLS certification from AHA or American Red Cross required Current ACLS certification from AHA or American Red Cross required NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification from AAP required Intermediate Fetal Monitoring Certification required Minimum 2 years of L&D/Perinatal experience in a high-volume delivery service required Associate's Degree in Nursing (ADN) from an accredited program required Must possess a valid US Social Security Number and US home address Driver's license required Two professional references required Full DOB and full SSN required for consideration Additional Information Provide high-risk obstetric and perinatal nursing care across LDR, triage, C-section, and antepartum settings Preferred: 3–5 years of perinatal clinical experience in a high-volume setting Preferred certifications: S.T.A.B.L.E. Program, Advanced Fetal Monitoring Certification
