Contract RN - Telemetry 6S

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, with every other weekend required.

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse for our 6-South Telemetry unit, which specializes in surgical oncology and medical surgical care. This 34-bed unit provides modified total patient care, maintaining 24-hour cardiac telemetry monitoring while delivering exceptional services to patients across all age groups, from young adults to geriatrics.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to a diverse patient population.
• Administer chemotherapy (certification required).
• Monitor telemetry readings and respond to emergency situations as necessary.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to create and implement patient care plans.
• Maintain accurate and timely medical records using Medi Tech EMR.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current RN license.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Med/Surg experience required.
• Chemotherapy certification preferred.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred.
