As the Surgical Oncology Manager
, you’ll ensure exceptional patient care and operational excellence across two clinics. Here’s what you’ll do:
- Oversee daily operations and staffing for a 15‑bed oncology unit, serving 30+ patients daily.
- Lead a team delivering advanced treatments, including chemotherapy and robotic‑assisted surgeries.
- Implement evidence‑based practices to enhance patient safety, streamline workflows, and improve outcomes.
- Ensure compliance with all policies, procedures, and regulatory standards, including equipment maintenance and accreditation requirements.
- Manage admissions, discharges, and interdisciplinary coordination to maintain efficient throughput.
- Mentor and develop your team, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Drive initiatives to elevate patient satisfaction and differentiate the organization as a leader in oncology care.

To succeed in this role, you’ll need:
- Experience: 1+ year of healthcare leadership experience, preferably in oncology or surgical services.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in nursing (BSN) required;
Master’s degree preferred. - Certifications: Current RN license in Texas, BLS, and Oncology Chemo Certificate required.
