🚨 Rapid Response Need – Immediate Start

We are seeking experienced Labor & Delivery Registered Nurses for a high-acuity, fast-paced travel assignment in Austin, TX. This opportunity is ideal for L&D nurses who thrive in a collaborative environment and have strong experience managing laboring patients and obstetric emergencies.

Assignment Details:

• 6-week contract

• Night shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM

• 48 hours per week

• Alternating weekends required

• No on-call requirement

• High-volume Labor & Delivery unit with 32 beds

• EMR:
Meditech

Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to laboring and postpartum patients

• Monitor maternal and fetal well-being using electronic fetal monitoring

• Assist with vaginal deliveries, C-sections, cerclages, and TOLAC patients

• Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes

• Respond effectively to obstetric emergencies

• Maintain accurate and timely documentation

• BLS Certification

• ACLS Certification

• NRP Certification

• STABLE Certification

• Intermediate Fetal Monitoring Certification

• SVE competency
