Part‑Time Registered Nurse (RN) – Surgery Center

Locations: Georgetown, TX and South Austin, TX

Position Type: Part‑Time

Mueller Surgery Center is a growing, patient‑focused ambulatory surgery center dedicated to providing exceptional surgical care in a safe, efficient, and compassionate environment. We are seeking an experienced and motivated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team on a part‑time basis.

The Registered Nurse (RN) will provide high‑quality patient care throughout the perioperative process, including Pre‑Operative, PACU (Post‑Anesthesia Care Unit), and Operating Room Circulating responsibilities. The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a commitment to delivering exceptional patient care and outcomes.

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Texas.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in:
  • Pre‑Operative Nursing
  • PACU (Post‑Anesthesia Care Unit)
  • Operating Room Circulating
• Current BLS certification required.
• ACLS certification preferred.
• Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC) experience preferred.
• Strong assessment, critical thinking, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced surgical environment.
• Excellent interpersonal and patient communication skills.

• Perform comprehensive pre‑operative patient assessments and preparation.
• Provide post‑anesthesia recovery care and monitor patients in the PACU.
• Serve as a circulating nurse during surgical procedures.
• Ensure compliance with infection control, patient safety, and regulatory standards.
• Collaborate effectively with physicians, anesthesia providers, and surgical staff.
• Accurately document patient care and maintain medical records.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and ongoing staff education.
• Maintain a professional, compassionate, and patient‑centered approach to care.
