Flight Nurse Salary & Incentives
- Starting range: $92,000-$95,000 annually
- $10,000 sign‑on bonus payable in two installments following the completion of training
- Schedule:
3 days on / 6 days off rotation - Company‑paid crew housing while on shift
- Assess each situation to determine the best course of action to support, monitor, and treat patients in critical care situations.
- Utilize critical thinking skills to manage the critically ill or injured adult or pediatric patient and support physicians’ orders.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and well‑stocked aircraft environment; perform regular equipment and base checks and comply with safety standards and briefings.
- Collaborate and communicate effectively and professionally with air and ground teams, dispatch, flight crews, facilities, and partners.
- Share shift change information with the transitioning team and follow protocols to maintain accurate company and regulatory documentation and records.
- Maintain required certifications and ongoing training required for the position.
- Be on time, reliable, professional, and meet the company’s elevated standards in safety and service.
- Three years of experience in an Emergency or Adult Critical Care setting as a licensed RN.
- Current RN license in the states served by the assigned area.
- EMT certification and trauma certification in state(s) where required.
- BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP required prior to flight status (NRP certification is provided during New Hire Training).
- Certified Registered Flight Nurse (CFRN) required within 24 months from the date of hire.
- Prior flight experience.
- Instructor certifications in BLS, ACLS, PALS/PEPP, ITLS/PHTLS.
