Description:

This is a Contract position for an RN in Labor and Delivery.
The assignment is for 13 weeks on the day shift from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM.
No on-call requirements are associated with this position.
The unit is a designated maternal center caring for complex patients at various gestational ages.
There are 22 beds, including 16 labor beds, and approximately 100 staff members.
Patient ratios are typically 1:2 or 1:1.
The unit operates with dedicated day and night teams, including charge nurses, surgical techs, unit clerks, and RNs.
Staffing is based on patient census, with a higher number of staff during the week compared to the weekends.
Common procedures performed include vaginal and cesarean section deliveries, tubal ligations, cerclage placements and removals, and D&Cs.
Ideal candidates should be multi-taskers who can work in a fast-paced environment.
A team-oriented attitude is essential for this role.
