Advanced Practice Provider PRN Part Time

Job Summary

AFC Urgent Care Southwest Austin is seeking board-certified physician assistants or nurse practitioners to join our Southwest Austin clinic, located in the Hobby Lobby parking lot next to Chase Bank in southwestern Austin TX 78749.

• Board certified mid-level / advanced practice providers with unrestricted Texas medical and active DEA license
• Comfortable seeing patients of all ages, from infants to senior citizens
• Skilled in performing minor office procedures like suturing, I&D, etc. and confident in treating most acute illnesses and injuries in pediatric and adult patients
• Ability to perform preliminary readings on x-rays and proficient in interpreting EKGs

• Master’s Degree from an Accredited University
• Licensed as Advance Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) OR Physician Assistant (PA)
• Board-Certified Family Nurse Practitioner OR Board-Certified Physician's Assistant
• Current unrestricted Texas State and DEA License
• 1+ years’ experience in Urgent Care
• 1+ years’ experience working independently as Solo Provider
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certified required and Advance Life Support (ACLS) certified preferred.
• DOT Certification required

• Competitive compensation. Equivalent hourly range $70 - $75
