Position Description:
The ER Nurse provides professional nursing care and assistance to patients with a wide range of illnesses. Responsibilities include direct and indirect patient care, guiding licensed vocational nurses (LVNs) and other non-licensed staff, and supporting medical care under the direction of the Medical Staff. The nurse collaborates with the healthcare team, adhering to the hospital's policies and goals.
License/Certification:
- Current RN licensure in Texas
- Basic Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification
Education/Experience:
- Preferred:
At least 2 years of current acute care emergency room nursing experience
