Location: South Austin, TX

Compensation: $110,000 - $125,000 Base Salary

Position Overview

We are seeking a compassionate, patient-focused Nurse Practitioner to join our growing outpatient pain management practice in South Austin, Texas. This position offers the opportunity to work alongside an experienced interdisciplinary team providing comprehensive pain management services to patients suffering from acute and chronic pain conditions. The ideal candidate will have strong clinical assessment skills, excellent bedside manner, and a commitment to improving patients' quality of life through evidence-based pain management treatment plans.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations and medical histories.
  • Perform physical examinations and ongoing patient assessments.
  • Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans for patients with acute and chronic pain conditions.
  • Order, interpret, and review diagnostic tests and imaging studies.
  • Prescribe medications and manage medication regimens in accordance with Texas regulations and practice protocols.
  • Educate patients and families regarding diagnoses, treatment options, and pain management strategies.
  • Collaborate closely with physicians and clinical staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
  • Maintain accurate and timely electronic medical records (EMR) documentation.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and maintain compliance with all regulatory standards.
  • Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as appropriate.
  • Provide exceptional patient care while maintaining high patient satisfaction standards.
Qualifications
  • Active Texas Nurse Practitioner License.
  • Current DEA registration and prescriptive authority.
  • Board Certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP), Adult-Gerontology Nurse Practitioner (AGNP), or related specialty.
  • Current BLS certification.
  • Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills.
  • Excellent communication and patient education abilities.
