Position: CRNA Evening Shift: 7 on 7 off - St. Davids Medical Center - Full Time

Position Requirements

Austin, TX - USA. CRNA opportunity for an evening shift with 7 on / 7 off, in Austin, TX where we have 300 days of sunshine a year!

Description

AAG provides anesthesia services for much of the St. David’s Health Care system in the Austin area. St. David’s Medical Center is home to the world-renowned Texas Cardiac Arrhythmia Institute and St. David’s Neuroscience & Spine Institute and provides comprehensive inpatient and outpatient care. In addition to St. David’s Medical Center, our practice provides anesthesia services ’s North Austin Medical Center, South Austin Hospital, and Round Rock Medical Center and accompanying outpatient surgery centers.

Case

Assignments

Our practice covers the full range of specialties including general inpatient and outpatient cases, trauma, OB, neuro, EP and more. CRNAs do their own spinals; as well as epidurals and arterial lines on a case-by-case basis.

Shifts

Monday - Friday 3pm - 11pm

Saturday and Sunday 7am - 7pm, following 7 days off

No additional call

Our diverse group is composed of anesthesiologists, CRNAs, and CAAs who provide anesthesia services in a care team model; team members are exposed to a wide variety of complex cases.

Responsibilities
  • Pre-anesthesia assessment
  • Obtain and/or verify patient consent
  • Discuss anesthetic options and risks with the patient
  • Induce, maintain, and emergently manage anesthesia
  • Monitor the patient's physiological condition
  • Perform clinical intervention as needed
Qualifications
  • Current license as a registered professional nurse
  • Graduation from an accredited program of nurse anesthesia education
  • Certified or recertified by the AANA Council on Certification of Nurse Anesthetists
Total Rewards
  • Salary: $260K
