Roles and Responsibilities- Manage clinic operations and quality, typically within a Level 2 or Level 3 practice.
- Establish and implement goals, objectives, policies, procedures and systems for assigned clinic areas.
- Develop and implement clinical plans; coordinate with medical staff to ensure quality patient care.
- Train, orient, and supervise departmental personnel; assign work and manage daily operations.
- Assist with staff selection/hiring, performance evaluation, and recommend pay increases, promotions, or disciplinary actions.
- Resolve problems to ensure compliance with regulations and industry standards.
- Help fiscal management and other administrative staff develop cost‑effective policies and procedures for billing, insurance, fee schedules, credit/collections, purchasing, and space planning.
- Monitor and control clinical expenditures to remain within budget.
- Act as liaison between clinic and external agencies.
- Participate in professional development activities to remain current with health care trends and practices.
- Maintain strict confidentiality and privacy standards.
- Perform related work as required and adhere to the “Code of Conduct” and “Mission and Value Statement”.
Graduate from an accredited nursing school or program.
ExperienceMinimum one year in a medical office, acute care or clinical outpatient setting. Previous supervisory experience in a clinical setting is preferred.
Certification / LicenseRegistered Nurse (RN) required. CPC coding required if coding duties are performed.

- Knowledge of government and reimbursement regulations and requirements.
- Skill in planning, organizing, delegating, and supervising.
- Skill in verbal and written communication.
- Skill in researching, preparing, and presenting comprehensive reports.
- Ability to take initiative, exercise independent judgment, decision‑making, and problem‑solving expertise.
- Ability to work effectively with staff, patients, public, and external agencies.
