Responsibilities
- Ensure patient safety and comfort to patients recovering from anesthesia
- Monitor the patient's level of consciousness and vital signs
- Provide reassurance and education to patients and family members
- Assess patients, deliver care to ventilator dependent patients, and monitor dressings
One or more year(s) of current experience within the Peri anesthesia Care Unit.
Educated on and follows HIPAA regulations; maintains strict confidentiality of client information.
Follows Infection Control, Standard Precautions and OSHA standards for the healthcare professional.
EducationGraduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
License / Certification- Licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse with active license(s) in the state(s) in which employed and practices.
- Current BLS/BCLS and ACLS certifications.
