Registered Nurse - Cath Lab - 1st Shift (06:30 to 15:00)
This Registered Nurse (RN) provides specialized nursing care in the Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory (Cath Lab). The nurse assists with cardiac procedures, monitors patient status, and collaborates with the healthcare team to ensure safe and effective patient care.
Core Responsibilities- Prepare patients and assist physicians during cardiac catheterization procedures.
- Monitor patients vital signs and cardiac status throughout procedures and recovery.
- Administer medications and treatments as ordered, adhering to safety protocols.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record system.
- Adhere to unit policies, protocols, and safety standards to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Respond to emergencies and provide advanced cardiac life support as needed.
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure.
- Certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) required.
- Experience in cardiac or procedural nursing preferred.
- Strong clinical assessment skills and ability to respond to rapidly changing patient conditions.
