Travel RN - Emergency Room; ER

Position Overview

Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN) – Travel Nurse, Austin, TX. Immediate opening for a RN with 1-2 years of recent acute care experience in an emergency setting.

As an ER Travel Nurse you will work with a diverse team of caregivers to evaluate, triage, and implement care using correct procedures and physician instructions. You will perform minor medical operations, advise patients and families on illnesses or injuries, plan long-term care needs, document medical history, check for allergies, obtain vital signs, and monitor patients’ emotional and physical well‑being.

• Clean and bandage wounds.
• Provide IV therapy.
• Maintain supplies and medical equipment.
• Report suspected abuse to appropriate agencies.
• Provide basic bedside care.

Stand and walk for long periods; bend, lean, and stoop without difficulty. Lift up to 20 pounds routinely and up to 50 pounds when needed. Ability to cope with a fast‑paced environment and relate to people of all ages and backgrounds.

ACLS, BLS, PALS and at least 2 years of acute care experience. Additional certifications may be required before beginning an assignment.
