- Perform patient assessments to identify wound care needs and appropriate interventions.
- Evaluate patient progress and wound healing outcomes, adjusting care plans as needed.
- Initiate and implement nursing interventions tailored to the patient s condition.
- Provide direct wound care based on patient condition and age-specific needs.
- Educate patients and families on wound care procedures, prevention strategies, and discharge instructions.
- Provide clinical staff education related to wound care treatment plans, procedures, and best practices.
- Requires strong assessment, planning, and communication skills.
- Must be able to collaborate across disciplines to ensure continuity of care.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

- Education:
Graduation from an accredited Bachelor of Science in Nursing, Associate Degree in Nursing or Nursing Diploma program. Graduate of an accredited Wound Ostomy Care Nurse program. - Licensure:
Current state licensure as Registered Nurse. - Certifications:
CPR/BCLS certification. ACLS preferred. WOCN preferred. - Experience:
Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in wound care required. - Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills.
