Position: CRNA Day Shift: 7 on 7 off - St. David's Medical Center - 0.8 FTE

CRNA opportunity for a day. AAG provides anesthesia services for much of the St. David’s Health Care system in the Austin area. St. David’s Medical Center is home to the world‑renowned Texas Cardiac Arrhythmia Institute and St. David’s Neuroscience & Spine Institute and provides comprehensive inpatient and outpatient care. In addition to St. David’s Medical Center, our practice provides anesthesia services ’s North Austin Medical Center, South Austin Hospital, and Round Rock Medical Center and accompanying outpatient surgery centers.

Our diverse group is composed of anesthesiologists, CRNAs, and CAAs who provide anesthesia services in a care team model; team members are exposed to a wide variety of complex cases.

Salary: $200K - $260K (prorated to 0.8 FTE). Sign‑on Incentive: $100K (prorated to 0.8 FTE). LRP or TAP options available.

Schedule:

7 on 7 off, in Austin, TX with 300 days of sunshine a year. Monday to Friday 7am‑3pm;
Saturday and Sunday 7am‑7pm, followed by 7 days off. No additional call.

Responsibilities
  • Case assignments: practice covers full range of specialties including general inpatient and outpatient cases, trauma, OB, neuro, EP, and more. CRNAs perform their own spinals, epidurals, and arterial lines on a case‑by‑case basis.
  • Pre‑anesthesia assessment
  • Obtains and/or verifies patient consent
  • Discuss anesthetic options and risks with the patient
  • Induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia
  • Monitoring of the patient's physiological condition
  • Performance of clinical intervention as needed
Requirements
  • Current license as a registered professional nurse
  • Graduation from an accredited program of nurse anesthesia education
  • Certified or recertified by the AANA Council on Certification of Nurse Anesthetists
