Position: CRNA - St. David's Medical Center - Night Float, Full Time

Position Overview

Night Float CRNA opportunity 7 nights on 7 nights off schedule in Austin, TX with Austin Anesthesiology Group (AAG). AAG offers a flexible schedule in various surgical settings. Our diverse group is composed of anesthesiologists, CRNAs, and CAAs who provide anesthesia services in a care team model; team members are exposed to a wide variety of complex cases. Our care team model means that we focus on everyone having a voice, while supporting, respecting, and helping to deliver care excellence.

Salary: $300,000

Responsibilities
  • Case assignments: practice covers the full range of specialties including general inpatient and outpatient cases, trauma, OB, neuro, EP and more. CRNAs do their own spinals, as well as epidurals and arterial lines on a case-by-case basis.
  • Pre-anesthesia assessment
  • Obtains and/or verifies patient consent
  • Discuss anesthetic options and risks with the patient
  • Induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia
  • Monitoring of the patient's physiological condition
  • Performance of clinical intervention as needed
Qualifications
  • Night shift schedule: 11p.m.–7a.m. with 7 on, 7 off
  • Current license as a registered professional nurse
  • Graduation from an accredited program of nurse anesthesia education
  • Certified or recertified by the AANA Council on Certification of Nurse Anesthetists
