Position Requirements Description
CRNA Needed at Central Austin, TX Specialty Hospital. Seeking experienced providers. Cardiac orientation provided upon full-time employment! Heart Hospital of Austin features 6 ORs and 1 EP lab in specialty adult 72 bed facility. Surgeons are exceptionally friendly & caring with great outcomes. There is professional autonomy, including lines, within team model in an award-winning hospital; also, there are close, collaborative working relationships and access to high acuity cases outside academics.
Help will always be available. 9 CRNAs, 4 MDs on staff.
- Salary: Based on years of experience: $200-245K base

- Case assignments:
Open hearts, electrophysiology lab, endovascular, NORA, and general surgery. No OB, peds, or neuro. In 2022, there were 680 pump cases, 250 TAVRs, 65 mitral clips. - Pre-anesthesia assessment
- Obtains and/or verifies patient consent
- Discuss anesthetic options and risks with the patient
- Induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia
- Monitoring of the patient's physiological condition
- Performance of clinical intervention as needed
- Schedule:
No call, weekends, holidays. "Peel" staffing system results in some shorter, some longer days (rare overtime) - Current license as a registered professional nurse
- Graduation from an accredited program of nurse anesthesia education
- Certified or recertified by the AANA Council on Certification of Nurse Anesthetists
