Summary

Curative Medical Group is seeking a dedicated and board-certified Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to join our collaborative and forward-thinking team. We provide both in-person and virtual visits for our members with a special focus on giving care to people who have not had regular access to primary care.

We are offering this unique opportunity as a hybrid position. This role operates on a set schedule. The hybrid model combines in-office patient care in downtown Austin as well as virtual visits from home.

All providers in this role will see patients in both Texas and Florida

In this role, you will be a key member of our clinical team, responsible for diagnosing and treating a wide range of adult health conditions within your scope of practice. Your expertise in telemedicine will be crucial in delivering high-quality, convenient care to our patients. This role includes close collaboration with our physician and fellow Advanced Practice Professional (APP) colleagues in primary care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive primary care to adult patients (ages 18+) through in office and virtual visits.
  • Conduct thorough patient examinations, including reviewing medical histories, performing physicals (as appropriate for the visit type), and ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests.
  • Develop and implement personalized treatment plans for acute and chronic conditions.
  • Utilize your experience in telemedicine to conduct virtual patient visits, ensuring a high standard of care and patient satisfaction.
  • Maintain accurate and timely electronic medical records for all patients.
  • Collaborate with supervising physicians and fellow APPs as needed, in accordance with Texas and Florida state regulations.
  • Collaborate effectively with medical assistants, nurses, and administrative staff to ensure a seamless patient experience.
  • Contribute to the development of our clinical services and programs.
  • Contribute to the development of a collegial and collaborative workplace.
Qualifications
  • For Nurse Practitioner:
    Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) degree from an accredited institution.
  • For Physician Assistant:
    Master's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program.
  • Current board certification is required:
    For NP:
    Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP‑BC) or Adult‑Gerontology Primary Care Nurse Practitioner (AGPCNP‑BC). For PA:
    Physician Assistant‑Certified (PA‑C) by the NCCPA.
  • Experience:

    Minimum of 3 years of direct in‑person patient care experience in Primary Care.
  • Must hold an active and unencumbered license to practice in the state of Texas (APRN for Nurse Practitioners; PA license for Physician Assistants).
  • Must also hold a Florida Telehealth License or be able to obtain one upon hire. All providers in this role will be required to see patients in both states.
  • Proven experience in providing patient care via telemedicine platforms.
  • Excellent clinical and diagnostic skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with patients and colleagues.
