Role
Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) Registered Nurse (RN) for a travel nursing position in Austin, TX.
ResponsibilitiesProvide specialized care to patients recovering from anesthesia, monitor vital signs, manage pain, and ensure patient safety and comfort. Collaborate with healthcare teams to deliver quality post-operative care and ensure smooth patient transitions.
Qualifications & SkillsValid RN license, experience in PACU or similar acute care settings, strong clinical assessment skills, excellent communication, and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Key DutiesAssess patient conditions post-surgery, administer medications, respond to emergencies, document care, and adhere to healthcare protocols and standards.
