American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Level 4 NICU position in Austin, TX, requiring a minimum of 2 years of NICU experience and an active TX or compact RN license.

• High-acuity, fast-paced Level 4 NICU setting
• Patient population includes neonates through 1 year of age, with occasional patients older than 1 year
• Complex case mix includes HIE/Therapeutic Hypothermia, VLBW/ELBW (prematurity), Congenital Diaphragmatic Hernia, heart disease/defects, surgical neonates, Bronchopulmonary Dysplasia, arrhythmias, congenital birth defects, and renal failure
• Nurse-to-patient ratios: 1:1 or 1:2 for ICU-status patients; 1:3 for stepdown/non-ICU patients
• Day shift: 06:45–19:15
• 13-week contract

• Active TX RN license or compact RN license (currently in hand)
• Minimum 2 years of NICU experience required
• Current BLS certification (AHA)
• Current PALS certification (AHA)
• Current NRP certification (AHA/American Academy of Pediatrics)
• Must possess a US Social Security Number and provide a US home address
• Valid driver's license required
• Two professional references required for consideration
