Job Summary

A registered nurse (RN) specializing in dialysis is needed for a contract position located in Austin, Texas. This role involves working in a dialysis unit with a schedule of 12‑hour shifts from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., including rotating weekends. Candidates are required to bring their valid nursing license on the first day of employment.

• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Acute Dialysis experience in Intermittent Hemodialysis (IHD), Peritoneal Dialysis (PD), or Continuous Renal Replacement Therapy (CRRT)

• Minimum of 0 years of experience

Permanent positions are available on the unit. The candidate profile most recruited for includes travel RNs, local CNAs, and sitters. Candidates without these skills will not be considered.

The dialysis unit comprises multiple facilities with a mix of multiroom and bedside care, utilizing equipment such as Tablo, Prismax, and Amia. Staffing includes one clinical nurse coordinator during the day shift and three rotating staff members on night shifts. The unit handles a variety of procedures and values flexibility and a suitable personality fit.
