Part‑Time Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP‑BC)

We are seeking a Part‑Time Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP‑BC) who is passionate about providing high‑quality psychiatric care while working collaboratively with therapists in a supportive team environment.

The PMHNP will provide psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and treatment planning for children, adolescents, and adults. This position offers flexibility while maintaining consistent availability for clients. This position requires a minimum of two weekday evenings each week.

Part‑Time. Availability for two weekday evenings (Monday–Friday). Additional daytime hours are flexible and can be discussed based on provider availability.

• Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations
• Diagnose and treat mental health conditions across the lifespan
• Prescribe and manage psychiatric medications
• Develop individualized treatment plans
• Collaborate closely with therapists regarding shared clients
• Provide education to clients and families regarding medications and treatment options
• Complete documentation within 24 hours
• Maintain compliance with all state and federal regulations
• Participate in occasional team meetings and case consultations

• Current Texas APRN license
• Board Certified PMHNP (PMHNP‑BC)
• DEA License (or ability to obtain)
• Ability to prescribe controlled substances
• Strong diagnostic and clinical assessment skills
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Comfortable providing both in‑person and telehealth services

• Experience working with children and adolescents
• Experience treating ADHD, anxiety, depression, trauma, PTSD, and mood disorders
• Familiarity with collaborative care models
• Interest in holistic, trauma‑informed, and culturally responsive care
