Position Summary
The Family Nurse Practitioner will provide comprehensive care to women in a busy outpatient Gynecology and Wellness practice. The ideal candidate is confident, patient-focused, collaborative, and committed to delivering evidence-based care while helping patients achieve optimal health and wellness outcomes.
Clinical Responsibilities- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and examinations
- Diagnose and manage acute and chronic conditions within scope of practice
- Provide gynecologic and wellness-focused care
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Educate patients on preventive health, wellness, hormone therapy, and lifestyle interventions
- Order, interpret, and review diagnostic testing and laboratory results
- Collaborate with the Medical Director and clinical staff to ensure exceptional patient outcomes
- Maintain accurate and timely medical documentation in the EMR (Athena)
- Colposcopies
- Endometrial Biopsies
- IUD Insertions and Removals
- Nexplanon Insertions and Removals
- Biote Pellet Therapy
- GLP-1 Weight Management Services
- Preventive and Wellness Treatments
- Additional women's health and wellness procedures as offered by the practice
- Current Family Nurse Practitioner certification (FNP-C or FNP-BC)
- Active Texas APRN license
- DEA license (or ability to obtain)
- Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills
- Excellent communication and patient education abilities
- Minimum of 2-3 years of Nurse Practitioner experience
- Experience in Women's Health, Gynecology, Primary Care, Wellness Medicine, Hormone Therapy, or Weight Management
- Experience performing office-based procedures preferred
